A community garden for over two decades
Founded in 1983, the battle to save this neighborhood oasis (which was plowed in 1997, then re-created in 1998) became a catalyst for garden preservation efforts citywide. It remains an oasis in a very urban intersection, and a constant reminder, to those who supported its preservation, that our voices can be heard.
