Now deals with evictions and housing (due to rising rents and gentrification), environmental issues, housing and disability for senior citizens, immigration and energy conservation. It was involved with the re-opening of McCarran Park Pool. It has been in the same building since 1978, when the firehouse reopened. Before, it was on White Avenue between North 8th and 9th Streets.
