Named after the steamboat inventor whose statue is in the center of the park, Fulton Park is a small, neighborhood park in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community. Recently restored, the park hosts a number of local annual events including the Fulton Art Fair, a popular Tree Lighting Ceremony, and also serves as the culmination of the parade on Brooklyn Day.

The park has been restored recently and residents are very protective of this "breezeway." It is host to the Fulton Art Fair, Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, and on Brooklyn Day the parade culminates at the park.
