Popular gathering spot
The space used to be a hat store. It was then vacant for a long time. Now it is a local coffee shop that attracts people from many walks of life. People who live in the area love it and have become frequent regulars. There is also heavy foot traffic coming from people shopping in SoHo and tourists staying in the Bowery Hotel across the street. The shop has become a great meeting place for artists and buisness people alike.
Stop by on a saturday morning and just listen to the buzz in the shop and you'll know this shop is a fixture in the neighborhood.
The baristas use a beautiful La Marzocco espresso machine, which was custom built in Italy. The chalk board menu is accented by salvaged wood from the Colgate factory. (April 2009)
