An architecturally diverse group of housing
Homes on this stretch represent at least 10 of the last 14 decades. A number of other Queens communities exhibit this diversity in small areas (Corona, Woodside, Flushing and Glendale) but the Whitestone Cluster is all the more remarkable since railroads played no role here. It can be identified by the high ground, architecture, lot size, trees and small courts departing from the grid pattern.
